As a Hawkes Bay lad, Andrew longed to live in the Waikato joining GAVINS in 2011 after gaining a Sports and Leisure degree from Waikato Uni. Andrew helps coordinate and manage our cultivation, cropping and planting teams all over the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and South Auckland to a high standard. He would love to help you out with your contracting (and even your fitness) enquiries.

Originally from Dorset, England Lauryn has previous experience working on dairy and arable farms in the UK. After gaining a Diploma in Agriculture in 2017 Lauryn moved to NZ where she joined GAVINS to drive tractors and then joined the operations team in Sept 2018. Lauryn is involved mainly in the Contracting operations team but also has some involvement with silage sales and stockfeed. Outside of work her hobbies include running, hiking, biking and beach going.

Sam is a born and bred Waikato man, brought up on a farm in Morrinsville. After school Sam spent some time in the UK driving tractors before coming back to NZ and starting with Gavins in 2009. Sam has been in various different roles, including a planter and harvester driver where he was passionate about precision planting and is now based in the office where he is helping with the operations. On occasion Sam is still called out to help out in the harvester. Outside of work, Sam is very family focussed with three children and enjoys time over at Waihi Beach.

Katrina and her husband have recently returned to the district, having worked as a husband and wife team for the last 18 years in neighbouring Waikato communities. Since achieving their goal of owning their own small herd and securing their first 50/50 share milking job, Katrina is very eager to pursue a career out of the farm gate bringing her on-farm experience and passion for the industry to Gavins customers, helping them achieve and maintain their on farm goals with their stockfeed requirements.
